1. High COD concentration in the influent
2. High salinity
3. Insufficient nitrogen and phosphorous content
Solution:MicroMotion®-COD as dosed, along with technical adjustments, to address effluent COD issues.
Processing Scale:8000m³/d
Treatment Effect:All discharge indicators at the wastewater plant effluent met the requirements of the Discharge Standard of Water Pollutants for Dyeing and Finishing of Textile Industry.
Characteristics
1. High COD concentration in the influent
2. High salinity
3. Insufficient nitrogen and phosphorous content
Plant Profile

Description
The current system exhibited unsatisfactory COD levels in the effluent.
Option
1. Ensured the C:N:P ratio meets 100:5:1; SRT ≥ 10 days; DO in the aerobic tank ≥ 2 mg/L; SV30 ≤ 60%; biochemical system temperature between 18°C and 35°C, chloride concentration ≤ 1000 mg/L; and sulfide concentration < 20 mg/L.
2. Ensured all equipment, especially blowers, water pumps, and sludge pumps operated properly.
3.Kept influent flow ≤ 500 m³/h , and COD concentration entering the secondary biological treatment ≤ 380 mg/L.
4. Applied 5000 kg of MicroMotion®-COD.
Result
Following the product application, the effluent COD and other key indicators consistently met discharge standards while influent flow ≤ 500 m³/h and secondary biological treatment influent COD ≤ 380 mg/L.
