It is designed to suppress hydrogen sulfide odours in sludge, composting, and wastewater treatment processes. Under low oxygen conditions, it enhances biodegradation efficiency.

Anaerobic microbial metabolism often produces sulphur-containing compounds, which are typically malodorous. Such odours arise during sludge treatment, composting, and wastewater treatment. MicroMotion®-S addresses this issue through its unique microorganisms, which convert sulphur in anaerobic or anoxic environments into elemental sulphur, thereby controlling odours.
MicroMotion®-S is ideal for application in wastewater treatment systems, primary treatment processes, sludge treatment systems, and anaerobic or facultative ponds. It is widely used in the dairy industry, meat processing, food manufacturing, municipal sewer networks, and wastewater treatment plants. It is also commonly used in biofiltration devices for odor treatment.
