Bio Cradle-200 series is composed of high-quality hydrophilic inorganic materials designed for microbial immobilization, combined with specialized nutrient slow-release agents. With a specific surface area of up to 1000 m²/g, Bio Cradle-200 utilizes microcarrier technology to enrich microbial populations.
Bio Cradle-200 adsorbs bacteria through surface electrostatic attraction. Upon receiving the adhesion signal, bacteria initiate the development of biofilm. The microorganisms form active hydrophilic microbial particles by consuming the nutrient slow-release agents on the carrier surface. When agitated or aerated within biochemical tanks, these particles come into full contact with organic pollutants in the water, significantly enhancing the organic load capacity and treatment efficiency of the biochemical system.
Bio Cradle-200 has been widely applied in treating high-salinity, high-toxicity, and high-organic-load industrial wastewater, effectively preventing microbial loss caused by floc disintegration under various shock conditions.
