Solution:MicroMotion®-N was applied to rapidly restore the nitrification system and stabilize effluent performance under the influence of toxic substances in the aerobic zone of the biological tank.
Processing Scale:120000m³/d
Treatment Effect:Ammonia nitrogen in the effluent was stabilized at ≤ 1 mg/L within 20 hours.
Plant Profile

Description
Based on the treatment capacity, influent pH, dissolved oxygen levels in the aerobic zone, temperature, sludge settling ratio, sludge concentration, and influent/effluent water quality parameters, it was determined that the influent wastewater contained excessive toxic substances, causing a large-scale die-off of nitrifying bacteria, which in turn affected the ammonia nitrogen levels in the effluent.
Option
(1) Conducted a bench-scale test using a mixture of oxidation ditch sludge and water to assess the situation, followed by on-site process adjustments based on the test results.
(2) Applied microbial agents: Used MicroMotion®-N to improve sludge activity and quickly establish a stable nitrification system.
